Dear Bicester,

Please do publicise the following support to your contacts.

The Winter Support Grant scheme launched on Monday 11 January and will close on 31 March 2021.

Councils will offer support to households that are struggling to afford food or pay their fuel bills because of the coronavirus pandemic. The distribution of the grant is being managed by the council in partnership with Citizens Advice.  Citizens Advice is delivering the support as part of a wider assessment of residents’ needs. Support will be offered in the form of help with food and fuel costs alongside advice to ensure that residents are aware of any other help they may be able to access.

From the bottom of the hill it always looks tough, at the first step of the journey the road looks so long! But the truth is, we always get there right?

As we go through these difficult and unusual times let's look to one another, let's draw on that God given part of us and take the steps, climb the hill and enjoy what we do have.

be well, be safe

God Bless

Capt. John
